JOHN BURNS
Co-Owner
In addition to his roles as Co-Owner and Director of Information for the Bonecrushers, Burns will also play Nose Tackle and serve as on-the-field leader for the Bonecrushers’ defense. Burns has 28 years of football experience, which began at the age of six. After earning four varsity letters at Carmel Catholic High School, Burns received several NCAA scholarship offers. Burns declined them, enlisting in the United States Marine Corps, continuing his football career as a member of the All-Marine football team. Burns has played 15 years of semi-professional football for the former Lake County Chiefs, where he was named the team’s Defensive Player of the Year six times. During the course of his career, Burns has been selected to the National Semi-Professional All-Star team, semi-professional Team USA and the Chicagoland Football League’s all-star team.
A. A’RON WILLIAMS, III
Co-Owner
Williams has been involved with sports his entire life. Williams played NCAA baseball at Alcorn State University, Northeastern Illinois University and minor league baseball in the Cincinnati Reds farm system. Following his baseball career, Williams became involved with semi-professional football by coaching and playing for the former Lake County Chiefs. Williams currently resides in Wauwatosa, Wis.
SHAUN W. TOTULIS
Co-Owner
Totulis attended and played football for Walker Hackensack Akeley High School in Walker, Minn. before joining the college ranks at Itasca Community College in Grand Rapids, Minn. Following college, Totulis played two seasons for the former Lake County Chiefs. Totulis is currently employed as a senior security analyst for a major international bank and spends his free time volunteering with youth football leagues and camps. Totulis currently resides in Waukegan, Ill.
NIKKI BURNS
Director of Compliance
Nikki Burns, wife of co-owner John Burns, holds an Associate Degree in General Science and a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from College of Lake County and Concordia University, respectively. Burns will be active with the Bonecrushers charity work.
