Milwaukee Bonecrushers
Bonecrusher end their season on a high note!!! Print E-mail

The Bonecrusher's came away from Saturdays game with a big "W" for their hometown fans, defeating the Miami Valley Silverbacks. 40-32, the score made the game look much closer then it really was, but several Bonecrusher's mental errors allowed the Silverbacks to get what appeares back into this game. The Bonecrushers new and improved offensive line gave QB #7 Brett Hall all the time in the world to throw the ball. And the running of RB #34 Adam Chorazy, punished the Silverbacks defense, every time Adam touched the ball the defensive line, were being blown off the ball by the offensive line, allowing Adam to torch the Silverbacks secondary. The defense provided sparks of their own, keeping the Silversbacks QB running for his life most of the game. "Dropkick" as he likes to be called, hit another record breaking kick for a second week in a row. And the masterful special teams play kept the Bonecrushers ticking all game long. The bigest disapointment all game was the mental errors the Crushers made, allowing a team they were clearly dominating to keep the score close.

Bonecrusher's Defense doing what they did most of the night, dominating the Silverbacks offense.

Crusher's loose a tuff one to the Slaugher Print E-mail
MILWAUKEE, Wis.—The Chicago Slaughter kept rolling along on Friday night. The Slaughter moved to 11-0 by defeating nearby rival Milwaukee 70-50 at US Cellular Arena in Milwaukee, Wis.

Chicago wasted no time getting on the board at the beginning of the game, taking just under four minutes to score the first touchdown. The point-after try was good by Chris Nendick, who would make all eight extra points on the night.

After being shut down on their opening drive and the Slaughter scoring again, the Bonecrushers woke up and scored on an exciting drive with a 17-yard pass from Brett Hall to Deonte Morris to make it 14-8.

Milwaukee's Scott Duvall converted a two-point dropkick after the touchdown, becoming the first player in CIFL history to score on a dropkick.

The Slaughter came right back with a Rob Boss touchdown.

Bobby Sippio was the favorite receiver for the rest of the evening for Russ Michna and demonstrated that by receiving a 34-yard pass and a short four-yard pass on the next play resulting in a Slaughter touchdown.

After another Slaughter touchdown drive, the Bonecrushers answered with a demonstration of Mike Leaks’ offensive prowess on a pair of gains for 12 and 15 yards resulting in a Milwaukee touchdown, bringing the score to 28-14.

The back-and-forth continued however with a return to the 20-yard line and a long pass from Michna to Reggie Gray for the touchdown.

The Bonecrushers came back with a 34-yard pass to Dorian Palmer and a short pass to Jeff Hueber, resulting in a Milwaukee touchdown for a 42-26 score going into halftime.

The Bonecrushers were unable to make progress after recovering an onside kick attempt by the Slaughter to start the half. However, the Milwaukee defense was able to get a stop against the Slaughter.

With quick work in a five-play drive, Hall’s offense was able to find the endzone and make it 42-32.

The Slaughter answered the Bonecrusher score with two of their own, bringing the score up to 56-32.

Milwaukee would outscore Chicago 18-14 to provide the final margin.

Milwaukee broadcaster Kyle Duerstein contributed to this article.
